The Wolsey Theatre, for me, is like The Everyman Theatre, Liverpool, as I used to know it. Before I left Liverpool, Peter Rowe was the Artistic Director of The Everyman.
As soon as I walked in The New Wolsey, I felt at home.
I have enjoyed some exciting/challenging theatre experiences, eg Geko,all their physical theatre pieces, some superbly performed musicals and some thoughtful dramas.
Today I and some friends saw Graeae perform Blood Wedding. Thank you to all the cast, the director and the artistic technicians for a lovely performance. They deserve full houses.
